Located in a former Jesuit college, the University Centre in Telc provides educational opportunities for faculties of the Masaryk university, offers study and advanced educational programmes as part of the lifelong education. Seminars, conferences and summer schools take place here. The environment is very attractive. Two-storeyed houses with Renaissance gables and arcades line the Telč's historical centre. Since 1992, the city is on the list of world's cultural and natural heritage UNESCO.

Thanks to a reconstruction, a modern integrated areal was created that provides high-quality background for HE study and advanced educational programmes of the Masaryk University. Housing, library and information centre are part of the complex. Lecture rooms are equipped with modern audiovisual techniques and computers. A cafe and catering facilities are situated in the basement.
